Ice fishing legend Dave Genz will be at Radioworld on Saturday, November 16th, 2013 presenting a seminar on what he knows best – ice fishing. The Vexilar pro-staff will be sharing what he has learned from his decades of experience on the ice to help make you a better ice angler.
Dave is known for revolutionizing ice fishing techniques by bringing mobility and electronics to the ice fishing community. He is known for drilling lots of holes and fishing them fast to locate active fish.

There certainly are not enough characters in this blog for an exhaustive list of everything “Big Jim” has done in is career which is approaching 30 years. He started his career as a bass tournament angler and seminar speaker. He is a two time bass Canadian Classic Champion and has 28 tournament wins to his credit.
He founded what is now the country’s oldest and largest free fishing publication – Just Fishing with “Big” Jim McLaughlin. Some of the top names in fishing have been featured in Just Fishing like Al Linder, Dave Genz, and Ted Takasaki just to name a few.
“Big Jim” has won a number of awards for his dedicated service and support of the Canadian sportfishing industry. In 2008 he won the CSIA (Canadian Sportfishing Industry Association) Chairman’s Award for the hard work he does to promote the growth of recreational sportfishing. In 2009 he was presented with the Rick Amsbury Hall of Fame Award for going above and beyond the expectations of the angling community.
“Big Jim” has seen a lot, done a lot, and learned a lot in his colourful career. He will be sharing with us his personal experiences and feelings on ice fishing today at our Ice Fishing Seminar and Sale.
