About Wil Wegman:

Wil has written about, worked on and fished Lake Simcoe extensively since the mid 1980’s. For more than two decades he taught bass fishing courses at various campuses of Seneca and Georgian College. Wil is an avid tournament angler and won his first professional bass tournament on Lake Simcoe in 1994. Since then he has qualified three times for Team Ontario (one of which was on Lake Simcoe) and has qualified to fish several tournaments in the US. Wil is the Conservation Director for the Aurora Bassmasters and is the only two-time recipient of the Bill Bond Memorial Award … for his dedication to conserving and promoting the fishery of Lake Simcoe. His magazine articles … many of which are on fishing Lake Simcoe, have appeared in Outdoor Canada, Ontario Out of Doors, Real Fishing, Just Fishing and in US publications like BASS TIMES, Bassmaster Magazine, and In Fisherman. For many years he also wrote a regular outdoors column in local newspapers which highlighted Lake Simcoe Fishing Opportunities. He has appeared as a guest on several TV Fishing Shows, including several episodes of Angler and Hunter and Bob Izumi’s Real Fishing Show.

Wil is recognized as a true ambassador to the sport of fishing. Promoting recreational fishing opportunities and sound conservation practices like catch and release and selective harvest is at the cornerstone of his talks and outdoor writing.

Humminbird Day Seminar April 4th 2015 at Radioworld

Join professional angler Barry Graves at Radioworld on Saturday April 4th 2015 for his seminar “Taking the Mystery out of Fishing with Electronics”.  Barry constantly uses his Humminbird electronics on the water to not only find fish but also to position his boat to make the perfect cast once he has found them.

Using electronics isn’t something just for anglers fishing deeper water as Barry will demonstrate how he relies on them when fishing shallow cover for Largemouth bass.  He will cover a number of other situations where electronics play a major role in his fishing.

This seminar is FREE of charge to all who wish to attend but we ask that you register with us at events@radioworld.ca to help us plan for the day.  We will have complimentary coffee and timbits.
